A Record High for The Same Period in History! In The First 10 Months of This Year, Shengze's Foreign Trade Exports Grew by More Than 20%

From January to October this year, Shengze's foreign trade handed in a brilliant "report card".

According to customs statistics, from January to October, Shengze's total import and export volume was 18.731 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 16.2%. Among them, the total export volume was 16.052 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 20.9%. The export volume of cross-border e-commerce was 1.462 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 27.0%. The total import and export volume, the total export volume, and the export volume of cross-border e-commerce all hit a record high for the same period in history.

From January to October, Shengze's export growth rate led the national goods trade export growth rate by 14.2 percentage points, and the national textile and clothing export growth rate by 17.9 percentage points. The steady growth trend of foreign trade exports continued to consolidate the market entities and made them stronger.

At present, Shengze has a total of 1,810 registered import and export enterprises, the largest number in the whole district, forming a good atmosphere led by leading enterprises and the active development of small and medium-sized enterprises, laying a solid "foundation" for the high-quality development of foreign trade.

Shengze has seized the new development opportunities of the "Belt and Road" and RCEP, actively organized enterprises to participate in domestic and foreign exhibitions, and expanded the foreign trade circle of enterprises. In the first three quarters of this year, Shengze Town's exports to 11 Southeast Asian countries along the "Belt and Road" increased by 37.2% year-on-year, and exports to 16 West Asia and North Africa along the "Belt and Road" increased by 33.4% year-on-year.
